Laser Surgery
Another technological marvel which Dr. Geunes employs routinely is the carbon dioxide laser. The laser is used for performing oral and facial biopsies and removal of lesions. Surgery with the laser can be performed in the office with anesthesia and is particularly useful in removing that unwanted facial mole or skin lesion. The laser cuts and removes tissue in a bloodless fashion reducing or eliminating the need for sutures.
